H.R.H The King of Spain, together with H.R.H.The Prince and Princess of Asturias, delivered the trophies of this 28 Copa del Rey Audi Mapfre which ended yesterday after six days of races for the seven different classes which have taken part in the regatta.
The winners were given the trophies during a ceremony at Ses Voltes gardens, which are placed next to the Cathedral of Palma.
The first ones to step up onto the stage were the third classified, which were awarded with the Real Federación Española de Vela Trophy: "Vindio"(ORC670), "Telefónica" (RI), "Tixelio" (X-35), "Charisma" (Swan 45), and "Container" (IRC).
Second classified received the Audi Mapfre Trophy: "Telefonica" (ORC670), "Gramona" (RI); "Just 4 Fun" (X-35); "Earlybird" (SWAN 45) and "Bellamente" (IRC).
The absolute winners were awarded with the yearned-for Copa del Rey, which went to Alberto Roemmers' "Realstone Matador" in the TP52 class, "Garmin" (RI), Neville Crichton's "Alfa Romeo" (IRC), Antonio Guasch's "Vertigo dos" (ORC), Javier Banderas' "Karhu" (X-41), and Vladimiro Pegoraro's "Karma" (X-35).
The Swan 45 class first place was won by RX Bol's "No Limits".
